DC Air Conditioner FAQ
1. Where should a DC Air Conditioner be connected?
The air conditioner should be connected directly to the vehicle’s battery, using DC power.
Please do not connect it to the cigarette lighter, as it cannot support the required current.
2.How much power does a Parking Air Conditioner consume?
Our air conditioner uses a self-developed patented inverter compressor, designed for high efficiency and low energy consumption.
Power consumption: 0.3–0.5 kWh per hour under high summer temperatures
Battery requirement: A 100Ah battery is sufficient for operation
3. Which vehicles are compatible with your Parking Air Conditioner?
We recommend reading our comprehensive Parking Air Conditioner Buying Guide, which helps you choose the most suitable model based on your vehicle type and usage needs.

We’ve been using this 24V RV AC and heat unit in our RV bedroom and it works great. The cooling is strong and the heat works well in mild climates. Installation was straightforward with some basic electrical know how, and it fit into the existing skylight opening without cutting. It runs smoothly on RV park power and also works with solar batteries when dry camping. The overall build quality is good for the price and it’s quiet for a rooftop unit. After sealing around it to prevent leaks, it has been reliable and does exactly what we needed.Pros• Strong cooling performance• Heat works well in mild climates• Quiet operation• Works with solar and RV electrical setups• Easy install if you’re handy• Good fit for RVs and motorhomesCons• Heat pump not ideal in very cold weatherOverall, it’s a solid upgrade for RV climate control and has been working great.
Works great! I have it set up as a secondary ac/heat for my main bedroom in my motorhome. The heat is best for desert climates or mild winter areas. Not so good for harsh winters, as it's a heat pump. It's good up to about 40 degrees and any lower than that, the heat pump is not as efficient.I have 4 solar panels on the roof of my RV hooked up to 2 deep cycle batteries. The batteries power this unit. It lasts about an hour of continuous use on battery power, or all night with it cycling off and on. (Information for dry camping purposes)I also have an emergency battery charger that provides about 50 amps at 24v that can power this unit as well.It uses about 40 amps of power to run. My motorhome has 30amp service which runs the main AC/heat in the motorhome. Most rv parks have a 30 and a 50 amp which tends to be enough to keep both units running. This product's overall quality is decent for the price. The install was easy for me but if you are not handy you will need help and watch some online videos. Basic electrical knowhow also required .It fit into my RV's skylight so I didn't need to cut anything but I had to caulk it up to prevent leaks and the condensate from running back inside.Overall, very impressed with it. It does the job. I can't complain!
I installed the 24V 8500 BTU Fahrenheit Rooftop Air Conditioner on my camper van, and it works perfectly! The low-profile design fits neatly on the roof, and the unit is much quieter than I expected — no loud drone while running. The AC cools efficiently even in hot summer weather, and the heating function is a great bonus for colder nights. It’s non-ducted, making installation simpler and more compact, and the 24V system works perfectly with my RV power setup.Pros: • Efficient cooling and heating • Quiet operation, low-profile design • Compact, non-ducted installation • Ideal for RVs, trucks, campers, vans, and tractors • Reliable 24V operationCons: • Installation may require two people due to size and weight • Roof seal must be checked carefully to avoid leaksOverall:This RV rooftop AC unit is a fantastic upgrade for anyone needing reliable, quiet, and efficient climate control on the road. Highly recommended for campers, vans, and RV enthusiasts!
